Aim of this study is to grade pes planus by footprinting in various diseases and foot conditions, 447 subjects were evaluated with clinical examination, X-ray, and footprinting for pes planus including calcaneal angle, hallux valgue angle, talometatarsal angle, arch height ratio, and arch height, New foorprinting grading system by both static and dynamic footprinting outlines as garde O to V was designed. This grading system is simple, useful method for evaluation for pes planus in private clinics. There was significant correlation between the grade of pes planus and other variables including calcaneal angle, hallux valgus angle, talometatarsal angle, arch height ratio, and arch height. |
