In the original version of this article, a sentence was inadvertently omitted from the “Sample Size Calculation” section.
The omitted sentence should read as follows:
In the present study, VO2max was operationally treated as the highest oxygen consumption value obtained during the test (i.e., peak VO2); therefore, the VO2peak-based estimate from the prior trial was used for sample size determination.
In addition, in the footnote of Table 1, “One-way ANOVA test.” should be revised to “Independent-samples t-test.”
Table 1 has been corrected accordingly.
