An evaluation of trigeminal SSEPs was done in 24 healthy koreans, The result obtained as follows:

1) The mean peak latencies of the trigeminal SSEPs from mental nerve stimulation were 4.05±0.86, 5.83±0.76, 7.09±1.07, 9.95±1.74, 14.55±2.19, 18.76±1.53, 27.76±2.16, 37.67±1.95 msec.

2) In all of subjects, p4, n10, p14, n18 and p28 potentials were appeared.

3) In 95.8% of subjects, n38 potential was appeared.

4) In 50% of subjects, n6 and p7 potentials were appeared.

5) There was no significant latency difference between right and left sides (p>0.05).

6) The amplitudes showed considerable variation among the subjects.
