Abstract |
During the year 1984, January to August, we studied the frame of consciousness of thirty three stroke hemiplegic patients who had been treated. We compared the consciousness of patients with that of their families by enquete. And the patients were evaluated for age, sex, site of hemiplegia, duration of of onset, with or without religion, and economic state. In this study, patients and their families showed similar response. Patients were more dependent, which means that patients have a lack of volition in rehabilitation, and showed stability in emotional state.
